This obituary of Clogher centenarian Bridget McKenna was published in a local newspaper in 1929. Bridget was born in Clogher in 1824 and died just short of her 105th birthday. She is buried at the Forth Chapel, Ballynaguragh. In this report she recalled seeing William Carleton when he revisited the area. She also attended the same hedge school he did near Augher.
